Evelyn Mowder has a degree in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania. Her first painting teacher at Penn was George Deem. She continued her studies with John Miller and Ray Yoshida at The Chicago Art Institute.
A full-time painter for over a decade, Mowder's paintings are included in private collections across the US and in Europe. She lives in New York City.
